The Garmin Forerunner 955 GPS Running Watch offers several new features to track all your activities, whether it’s swimming, running or climbing, the smartwatch has you covered. With improved battery life and access to multiple satellite systems, you’ll never get lost again. In addition to Garmin’s signature five buttons, you can now operate your smartwatch via touchscreen.

What’s new compared to the Garmin Forerunner 945?

  • Extra long battery life - for up to 15 days in smartwatch mode, 80 hours in UltraTrac mode and 42 hours in GPS mode.
  • Touchscreen and buttons - to swipe through your widgets and operate your watch even during swim sessions.
  • Multi-GNSS Support - access multiple global navigation satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO) for improved position accuracy in areas where GNSS signals are reflected, weak or typically don't penetrate.
  • Up Ahead mode - view performance metrics, splits, and distance/elevation during trail runs, plus a summary of key upcoming trail points for selected predefined checkpoints like aide stations and climbs.
  • Race Widget - that has all the information for your next run including training tips, personalised daily suggested workouts and completion time predictions based on course details, weather and performance.
  • Real-Time Stamina - used during runs and rides to manage your stamina throughout a workout and avoid exhaustion early in the game.
  • Acute Load - here you can see your training history, and compare the intensity of your recent workouts to the optimal range to help improve your fitness.
  • Training Readiness - calculates your workout ability by analysing your sleep quality, recovery, training load and more.
  • Morning Report - all-in-one report that shows your sleep quality, recovery time and training outlook, including HRV status and weather.
  • HRV status - the heart rate variability status gives you an overview of your overall health, recovery and training performance. Higher pixel resolution - for a readable display in all conditions.
